How you know you’ve made it.
So this would be Zach Braff (whose work I’m very familiar with) and the porn star James Deen (less so), but I am completely fascinated by James Deen, because the only reason I know who he is at all is because TONS of female nerdfighters in their 20s post about him ALL THE TIME. Is he that famous? And why?
I guess I should be encouraged that women can now sexualize men publicly. By men, of course, I mean Braff.
Anyway, most reblogging for fantastic look on Braff’s face.
Edited to reflect the many people who pointed out how wrong I was about objectification. Also, I now have (literally!) 500 new asks about James Deen in my messages. So that’s a turn of events I did not anticipate for today.

Mas Neruda
I crave your mouth, your voice, your hair.
Silent and starving, I prowl through the streets.
Bread does not nourish me, dawn disrupts me, all day
I hunt for the liquid measure of your steps.
I hunger for your sleek laugh,
your hands the color of a savage harvest,
hunger for the pale stones of your fingernails,
I want to eat your skin like a whole almond.
I want to eat the sunbeam flaring in your lovely body,
the sovereign nose of your arrogant face,
I want to eat the fleeting shade of your lashes,
and I pace around hungry, sniffing the twilight,
hunting for you, for your hot heart,
like a puma in the barren wilderness.
This was originally written in Spanish, and I think it loses something in the translation, but given that you only read English… (:

Mrs. Summers has brought a baby into the library.
Why has she brought a baby into the library!?!?
It’s super awesome that you trust me enough to tell me things. But I feel the need to remind you now, before this is a problem, that… I’m just a person. And thinking of me as more than a person is only setting both of us up to be disappointed. So I think it’s sweet that you say such nice things, and I love you very much, but I don’t want you to start idealizing me. John Green offers some insight at about 1:54 of this video.
